In ARC Raiders, inventory decisions matter more than most players realize. The Mini Centrifuge looks like one of those “maybe useful later” items, but in practice it’s actually a straightforward economic choice. If you’re unsure whether to keep it, recycle it, or sell it, the answer depends entirely on your progression stage—not sentiment.

Early in your looting loop, a lot of players also get distracted by external trading chatter like arc raiders mod blueprints buy online and assume rare industrial items might tie into hidden crafting chains. The Mini Centrifuge doesn’t. It’s a clean utility item with a clear purpose in the economy system, and once you understand its returns, it becomes easier to treat it like currency rather than gear.

What the Mini Centrifuge Actually Does

The Mini Centrifuge is not part of any Workshop upgrades, Raider Projects, or quest progression. That alone is the biggest signal that it’s safe to liquidate. Its value is purely material or credit-based.

Here’s what you get from it:

Recycle: 1× Advanced Mechanical Components + 2× Canisters
Sell: 3,000 credits (flat vendor value)

Advanced Mechanical Components are especially important in mid-to-late game crafting. They’re used for higher-tier weapons, augments, and attachment crafting, which means recycling has long-term value even if it feels less immediately rewarding.

Recycle vs Sell: The Real Decision

If you’re still building your loadout and experimenting with builds, recycling is usually the better move. One player case from mid-progression illustrates this well:

A player running consistent extraction routes in Dam Battlegrounds recycled 12 Mini Centrifuges over a week. That converted into:

12 Advanced Mechanical Components
24 Canisters
This effectively saved them from farming roughly 6–8 additional high-risk industrial runs later, since those components are bottlenecks for Tier 2 weapon upgrades.

On the other hand, if you’re already stable on crafting materials and just need liquidity for market purchases or loadout recovery, selling becomes more efficient. At 3,000 credits each, selling just 5 units gives you 15,000 credits—enough to cover multiple full-load gear resets.

In a broader optimization mindset, players often label this kind of decision-making as U4N gameplay efficiency: turning low-utility loot into either progression speed or economic stability depending on current needs.

Where to Farm More Mini Centrifuges

If you decide later that you need more Advanced Mechanical Components, you can reliably target Mini Centrifuges in high-density industrial zones.

The most consistent locations are:

Exodus POIs on Stella Montis
Assembly areas
Business Center interiors
Medical Research facilities

These zones tend to spawn multiple industrial containers per run. A typical 10–12 minute loot sweep can yield 1–3 Mini Centrifuges depending on RNG and player competition. Over a 5-run sample, most players report an average of 6–9 total units, which translates into a meaningful crafting buffer if recycled.

Bottom Line

The Mini Centrifuge is not a stash item. It’s either:

Crafting fuel (recycle) if you’re upgrading gear, or
Pure credit injection (sell) if you’re already set on materials.

There’s no hidden quest line, no secret upgrade dependency, and no reason to hoard it “just in case.” Treat it as a flexible economy item, and your progression curve will stay noticeably smoother throughout mid-game.
